Inca Trail 4 days and 3 nights

      Day 1-(L)(D): Between 7:00 - 8:00 am we pick you up at your hotel and we go to km 82 by bus. From here you will have amazing views of vilcanota glacier and walking near the Vilcanota River on it will take us about 7 hours of hiking (13km) to reach the first campsite in Huayllabamba.                           

 Day 2-(B)(L)(D): Physically a tough day: 16 km and walking to the highest point passes. Warmi Wañusca, with its 4200 mts, is the hightest point of the Inca Trail where you will have an unbelievable panoramic views of the whole Area , feeling different types of microclimates. Breathtaking and stunning Included is a visit to the ruins of Runkurakay and Sayacmarca. We will be camping in Pacaymayu. 

Day 3-(B)(L)(D):Today is a relatively easy one: we walk only 11 km and most of the route is flat and descending towards the second most important trail at 3,850 m.a.s.l, meanwhile having a guided visit at the archaeological sites of Phuyupatamarca, Intipata and Wiñaywayna (forever young), the latter being our last campsite of the trek.

Day 4-(B): After breakfast, finally we depart to Inti Punku, the entrance of the old Inca citadel of Machu Picchu where you will have the most impressive panoramic view of the citadel. This will take us about an hour and a half and it is an unforgettable experience observing the ruins from that point. In Machu Picchu we will have a guided tour of approx. 2 hours and in the afternoon we will get back to Cusco by train. Arrival time in Cusco is estimated around 9.00pm.
